Review of International Cupping Therapy Association (ICTA) Silicone Cups
Updated: Sep 17, 2019
This company has been suppling cups since 2005. They offer quality cups that are intended for practioners certified in cupping. I have a deep respect for a company that actively advocates for cups as medical devices, and in doing so makes education a priority. They offer several workshops that range from three days to one day. Personally I would love to take classes from every company that aspires to create a sound cupping communitity. There is so much room to grow with this modality and I think we as cupping practioners should represent our clients with as much experiance and expertise as possible.

Please note that these cups are licensed out to Green Island for manufacturing as per the specifications of ICTA. These cups are a firm and beautiful turqoiuse. I like these for moving cupping and I often warm them up under my heating pad before my clients arrive. Personally I'm uncomfortable using these cups for static cupping as they are not transparent enough to see what is happening to the skin underneath the cup. I would recommend their clear cups for static cupping. Again this is only my opinion as I know many therapists who use these for static cupping without any complications. Having said this I love using these cups on myself. These cups are also great to use in the bath and the shower. As always one set just isn't enough.
